Hold the UFO above the center of the base and let go when it balances. It may take a few tries the first time.

What happens if the power goes off?

The UFO settles onto the base.

Does it need batteries?

No. The base plugs into the wall and powers the UFO without wires.

Can I keep one color?

Yes. Touch the base to start the color change. Touch it again to lock in your favorite color.
